This new comic isn't Ding! If you don't want to do Ding! anymore, at least don't insult fans of Ding!
by making a brand-new comic, calling it "Ding!" and hoping we will be fooled.

Nathan,

What a horrible thing to say to me. I'm sorry you are disappointed that I'm not continuing the stories
of Kissybear and his WoW guild. But the name Ding was attached to another strip before Kissybear.
It carries on to new subjects sometimes.

I'm not trying to FOOL anyone. Who would be fooled by such a thing?

You don't even KNOW what this comic is about because you haven't given it a chance yet.
You're just flipping out because something has changed.

you're WELCOME for the double sized strip today, you creep.

Give it a chance before you pass too harsh a judgement, how abouts?

I'm sorry, Scott. This is what I was trying to avoid. I didn't want to come off as insulting.
I love your comic, and am definitely looking forward to seeing Binwin in weekly (will they
continue to be double sized? That would be rad) installments.

What my email should have been was "I am disappointed that you are not continuing the stories
of Kissybear and his WoW guild." I didn't mean to give the impression that I did not like today's comic.

When I saw that you brought "Ding!" back, I naturally figured it was the long-awaited return
of your WoW comic, so I was pretty disappointed when I saw that it was not the Ding! I knew and loved.
It seemed like teasing.

I didn't mean to suggest that someone would literally be fooled by the change. What I meant
was: I did not think that it would appease your anxious Ding! fans.

And really? I am just super excited that you wrote back! I even got a tweet! (I don't drink
coffee, by the way. Maybe I should start? :) )

So I am sorry that you were angered by my last email. I am just a huge fanboy and
was coping with the loss of the beloved WoW Ding!

No problem Nathan,

I think Kissybear will live on in the PvP proper strip as Francis' Wow alter ego now and again.
I just don't want a whole comic about it. Thanks for clarifying. Peace!
